At one time, as recent as November 3, I could tell you exactly what a liberal/democrat does in his or her off time. Now I am not certain at all. I seem to be confused by recent events. Are they just throwing me a curve ball or what? Just when you think you've got them figured out then you realize you don't. What am I talking about here? War!
Obama has sent 17,000 troops from Iraq to Afghanistan. Wasn't this the candidate who was anti-war? Wasn't this the candidate who had everything figured out on when the immediate withdrawal of troops will take place and on which dates? Wasn't Obama like the all the other liberals in that he constantly was telling everyone that this war was wrong and he will get all of our troops back? Well, yes this is that same candidate. However, I will give him some slack on this because at least he is trying to defend our nation, at least for this week. Now his supporters, I will not be so kind to on this topic.
Please, can anyone tell me where are the war protesters? I went as far as googling war protesters agains the 17,000 troops Obama has sent to Afghanistan and I got nothin remotely close to a match! There are no portesters! Obama sends troops to Afghanistan, not back home, and there is not one protester standing in front of the White House with stupid little liberal signs?!? As I said, just when you think you know what they do in their off time then they give you the slip! Slimey little weasels aren't they? Funny how you can put the ultimate liberal in the White House and he continues the war, moving troops into another arena, yet the liberals do not protest that action? Liberalism: Total Contradiction!

Secretary Of Commerce Anyone?
From Your Correspondent RedStatesMan...
My "Rightly News" report will begin trying to predict political happenings in the world as a new feature in this blog. From time to time I will engage in forecasting the future of the Obama Administration. Without further adieu, here is my first prediction.
As we all know Obama has experienced trouble in naminf the Secretary of Commerce. We also know that the Obama Administration has a knack for choosing someone who has problems paying their taxes of all things. It is due to this unfortunate lack of character and deceit that we here at "The Rightly News" can make a prediction of whom the next candidates will be for the commerce gig. We fully expect it to be a tough decision, for Obama, between Wesley Snipes and Willie Nelson as our next Secretary of Commerce. We are not ready to declare a winnder but we are confident, from recent history, that it will come down to these two men. With Snipes' and Nelson's history in not paying taxes we feel that these choices are right, or shall I say left, on the money!
Have a great night!

I Told You So!
After 18 days or so in office for the new Obama administration, I thought about how things were working out so far in contrast to the pre-election talk we all heard last year. After examining just a few of Obama's quotes over the past few years, I came to the conclusion that most of YOU were duped. I can not stress enough, the importance of being not only informed but possessing personal knowledge and definitely gut knowledge; something you know in your gut is either right or wrong.
Let's take a look at some of Obama's notable quotes and what we have seen so far:
Change doesn't come from Washington. Change comes to Washington.
BARACK OBAMA, DNC speech, Aug. 28, 2008
With the bunch of cabinet posts that have been made by Obama, I fail to see how any change has come to Washington at all. Same ole liberal agenda, lies and spending.
[The] issues are never simple. One thing I’m proud of is that very rarely will you hear me simplify the issues.
BARACK OBAMA, MSNBC interview, Sep 25, 2006
I am not sure how your recent statement about inheriting this economy fits into this one. It is not like you just woke up this morning and realized the economic problem. Heck, you have been talking about how you would fix the economy for two years now! You seemed to be in a hurry to get this economic porkulus package out; that was simplifying an issue if I ever saw it. Simplfying the economic problem we have now to the point that it must be a plan within days is ridiculous.
I don't want to pit Red America against Blue America. I want to be President of the United States of America.
BARACK OBAMA, speech, Nov. 10, 2007
Good luck with this one; let me know how it turns out for you!
What Washington needs is adult supervision.
BARACK OBAMA, fundraising letter, Oct. 2006
We lost this on January 19, 2009. Just look at how Nancy Pelosi is leading Obama by the ring in his nose she had implanted. A nation led by Pelosi is even worse than Obama. Stay tuned to this fiasco!
If the people cannot trust their government to do the job for which it exists - to protect them and to promote their common welfare - all else is lost.
BARACK OBAMA, speech, Aug. 28, 2006
Excuse me sir, you just chose three people who do not pay their taxes to lead certain departments of our government not to mention you are all for giving freedom to terrorists who were a part of the USS Cole bombing. Not a good start and contradictory yet again.
The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our gross domestic product, but on the reach of our prosperity, on the ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart -- not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good. BARACK OBAMA, Inaugural Address, Jan. 20. 2009
Did you get those last two words? Common good! The beginning of socialism for the United States of America.
Faith doesn't mean that you don't have doubts.BARACK OBAMA, speech, Jun. 28, 2006
What? Maybe in whatever your religion but not in mine. If you are talking about having faith in Man then yes.
In a country of 300 million people, there is a certain degree of audacity required for anybody to say, "I'm the best person to lead this country."
BARACK OBAMA, Washington Post, Nov. 18, 2006
On February 4, 2009, Pelosi stated that "500 million people will lose their jobs each month until we have an economic package." Is she counting the unborn that she already took care of eliminating with her planned parenthood and the money that Obama sent overseas to pro-abortion groups? Wow, they can really plan ahead with this whole social engineering, population control thing, can't they?
As you can see, I listed only a small number of Obama quotes and already after 18 days you can see that some of YOU made a huge error on November 4. Stay tuned because there will be much more. Trust me!

The Porkulus Bill
I must say that the stimulus or porkulus bill has left me with a question. There has been much debate here on Blogit about this bill and rightfully so in these times. The past few days I noticed Obama's visits to Indiana and Florida and the people's responses to this bill.
In Florida, a young man jumped up out of his chair to praise God for the opportunity to speak with Obama. My response was 'get a grip boy' and I was correct. This young man, one of many who we can thank for the presence of this so-called administration, asked Obama how can the government help him due to the fact that he had been working at McDonald's part time for 4 years and had not seen any further benefits. I thought, to myself, this nation is in more trouble than I ever imagined. If I had been working at McDonald's for 4 years part time then at some point the idea of needing more education would have come forth or look for a full time job! There's a concept, boy! Is America this stupid now? Do we have a bunch of young people who are absolutely dumb as dirt? We truly have a society who actually thinks that government is what makes all things better. Got a problem, then no problem go to daddy government and all will be well because why? We are entitled to it! That is what America actually believes! This is where we are at now! You stupid bunch of twits! Nothing is my responsibility whether it is getting a woman pregnant or my fate in the job market, feed me, feed me, it is the duty for the government to keep my good times going! Get a grip people! Liberals, put down the doobie and get sober will you?!
Then we have a black woman in Florida who spoke up for her needs and desires to Obama. She reminded me so much of the black lady I encountered in the grocery store register isle who stated "Obama will give me the money to pay off my house and utility bills." The lady in Florida told Obama that her desires were not parks and roads and such but she needed a new kitchen sink and other improvements to their house since they were in such a bad situation these days. I wanted to ask her what she drove around in and if she had cable or satellite and if she had bought lottery tickets and alcohol but I could not becuase the answer was obvious as it always is because we obviously have a HUGE segment of society who want socialism; who want communism. Who cares, as long as I get mine handed to me without doing anything. That is what this whole things is about. Obama and his cronies want power so what better way to get it than give the people everything they want no matter what tghe consequence is or not.
Liberailism is all about lying to people about wanting to take care of them but then being exposed as a fraud later on. It is a lie folks. They lie in order to stay in power. You will see this take place as the weeks and months pass by. Same ole liberal junk repackaged.
Who do we have to blame for this? Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barney Frank to name just a few. My research tells me that Obama wanted at least 50% of this bill to be tax relief. Nancy and her worthless gang gave him some 30% of tax relief for the middle class. Worthless liberals! They must be eliminated from future politics.
From what I could learn, Obama wanted about 50% of the bill to be tax relief

Facts, Logic & Reasoning? HA!
Our nation is truly in the lowest point of its' existence. Am I speaking of the economy? No! Am I speaking about foreign relations? No! I am speaking as a society we are at the lowest point of all time. The past election alarmed me, in that I had no idea that we as a nation were so close to ruin. Obviously we have crossed that point and now the downfall will truly increase in speed. You always hear liberals proclaim their superiority by using fact, logic and reasoning in their politics and ideology. I do not subscribe to that idea at all.
Last evening a 76 year old man called wanting to hear of how my parents were doing. He is a cousin of my Dad's. We talked about how everyone was doing in health and spirits. Somehow the conversation then went from religion to politics; definitely not led by me. he has always been quite a talker, usually stopping just for air. The gentleman will proudly tell you that he is a devout Christian, in his words "a holy roller from the Church of God". He told me that, against his wife's wishes, he proudly voted for Obama. As he paused I kindly said "I see". Then he continued by telling me that he voted for Obama because he can get us out of the mess that we are in because he was a smart man. He then told me that had heard how great a man Obama was and how intelligent he was on television. He said he had also seen many advertisements about how great a man Obama was and how we needed him now. I replied again "I see". He told me that his Dad, who passed away in 1971, had always told him that when a Republican was in office then expect everything to go downhill financially. he then told me that his family had always been democrats and voted for democrats always. By this time I did not know whether to vomit or go to sleep. Then he paused long enough for me to get a word in so I asked him how long did he think our financial situation had been going downhill. He said this past year. Then he said everything was going great until 2008. I passed at the opportunity to ask how long President Bush had been in office. He went on to tell me that they had plenty of money and had been doing great even now. I asked him how his church viewed homosexuality? I then asked him did he support same sex marriage. He, of course, said that he nor his nor his church 'would never support these things.' Then I asked what his views on abortion. Again he vehemently opposed abortion. His church was against murder. I asked him how he felt about high taxes. He said that the people of this nation was already taxed too much. At this point I decided to change the topic.
This conversation proved to me what this past election was all about and how to this day there are so many people in this nation who are completely misguided and uninformed. This is not 1920, it is 2009! There are still so many people out there who still use the same ole misguided, 'my daddy was a democrat and his daddy was a democrat and...' as if it was some sort of birth law and that nothing ever changes in a political party. Then you mix in some 18 year olds who know nothing about politics at all and who will vote for the coolest dude or coolest bumper sticker and then you have Hussein the president! You also have the following as a result:
MINNEAPOLIS (Reuters) - Democrat Al Franken beat Republican incumbent Norm Coleman to win the U.S. Senate seat from Minnesota, officials conducting a final recount said on Monday, though the loser promised to challenge the result.
The outcome found Franken edged Coleman by 225 votes out of nearly 2.9 million votes cast, but Coleman's lawyers complained the recount was conducted unfairly and promised a court contest that could take weeks to resolve.
The old adage still holds. Anyone can be president (or senator) in America. At least we can say "What a great nation!" However, that is about it in the case of the 2008 election. Obviously we must weather the storm and allow the young and old generation to come to their senses but can we? Apparently the left tweaked the Minnesota election enough to get it just as they wanted it, a Franken victory. I guess if you can keep saying 'one for you, two for me' then you can overcome all odds eventually. Comedian Al Franken, a U. S. senator. Gee, what a proud moment in our nation's history. One thing is for sure the next few years will be a comedy of errors so I guess Franken will fit right in with the rest of Pelosi's Court Jesters!
